The compulsory examinations for breeding cats concern all males and females used for reproduction – even non-FIFé males. ;
We recommend that you have your new breeding cats examined at the time of the second vaccination and obtain confirmation at that time, as this will save you an additional vet appointment. The form must be enclosed with the first pedigree application at the latest.
Art. 29 of the FSVO Animal Welfare Ordinance has been in force since 1 January 2015. Please read the two documents BLV and Explanation of the Ordinance. The form, stress categorisation by the vet, is optional on the part of the FFH. However, it is recommended, especially for breeds with more extreme characteristics, to have the stress classification carried out.
